Campo de' Fiori
Certainly one of the most famous squares of Rome, but we could also say of the world. Here every morning takes place a colorful and lively market where you can discover the flavors of an ancient Rome, now almost disappeared. Once the market is finished, the square becomes one of the major point of attraction in Rome, thanks to its countless bars, pubs, restaurants and ancient bakeries that every day are able to satisfy the tastes of thousands people coming from all over the world.

Colosseum
This is one of the most important and majestic building made by the Romans, and definitely the most famous in the world. The Flavian Amphitheatre, this is its real name, was built by the emperor Vespasiano in 72 d.c. and completed by Tito in 80 d.c. With its capacity of 50.000 spectators, a real miracle of engineering at the time, it was used to host the biggest attraction of the city: the Games. Here slaves, animals and even ships were used to make real battles where nobody was blameless and where life or death was determined by the destiny or by the Emperor’s will, who with his thumb could have decided everybody’s fate.

Saint Peter
Piazza san Pietro is one of the biggest and most beautiful squares of Rome, from which you can access to the smallest but most powerful State of the Christian world: The Vatican city, which is also the residence of the Pope, head and spirit of the Christians. The square, the Sistine Chapel and the Basilica are the works of the greatest Italian painters, sculptors and architects that the world had ever known: i.e. Bramante, Rossellino, Antonio da San Gallo, Raffaello, Michelangelo, Bernini and Borromini.

Spanish Steps
This is the most elegant and sophisticated square in Rome. Its impressive stairs, made by De Santis, connect the “Trinità dei Monti” church, with its famous twin tower bells, to the Barcaccia, the famous masterpiece of Bernini, where the Romans and the tourists love cool themselves on the hottest days. Nowadays this is the most visited and photographed square in the world and here used to live the biggest intellectuals in the world sush as wagenr, Liszt, Balzac, Stendhal, Rubens, Tennyson, Byron e Keats.
It is connected to Via del Corso by Via Condotti, two amazing shopping street with the most famous names of the Italian style.
